If we’re to be fair, this game isn’t any worse than any previous games of its kind. It is just unlucky to be the last in what seems to be a never ending streak of match 3 games that we’ve recently got. Then again, it appears as though the developers didn’t really tried to make it a unique and interesting experience.
Unlike the released Star Wars: Puzzle Droids which also happens to be (you guessed it) a match 3 game but at the same time manages to introduce us to new and interesting gameplay mechanics, Family Guy – Another Freaking Mobile Game simply lacks imagination and innovation necessary to make this play through as exciting as Star Wars does.

As for the gameplay, we guess it’s not the dullest thing ever. It is just as we’ve said, a game that had the misfortune of being published right after a couple of similar titles with pretty innovative gameplay mechanics.
Tiles can be joined together and every combination with more than three identical tiles in a specific shape will result in a powered up tile. Depending on how you combine them, you can create everything from horizontal and vertical blasters to explosive barrels and “X” blasters.
Some combinations will even allow you to destroy every single tile of the same color upon combining them or even better, turning them all to explosives and then detonating them.
We guess it could be fun but we’ve had our fill of match 3 games for now.
