Hello everyone and welcome to another one of our guides! This time we’re trying to focus on fighting games for smartphones. We’ll cover some fighting games from both Android and iOS devices.
What better way to start a fighting games writing spree than by talking about Mortal Kombat? Most of us know Mortal Kombat as one of the first, if not the first, fighting game we ever played.
You can take your favorite fighting game with you whenever you go since the release of Mortal Kombat X. There’s a reason we want to cover this game first, and that’s because we liked it very much. We were playing it much before we decided to write these articles and we were enjoying it ever since.
Mortal Kombat X has a lot similarities to it’s predecessors, if you’ve played them you’ll notice right away. The combat in game has overall the same feeling it did in other parts of the franchise. There isn’t much skill involved, but you have to pick the right time to attack. Guess that’s some kind of skill as well ?
Not only will we introduce you to the game, if you haven’t already played it but, we’ve prepared something else. There are plenty of ways to get resources in the game and we’ve made sure to bring you a full guide. Stick around and you might learn something new.
We’ve also made a viable Mortal Kombat X Koins and Souls hack for both Android and iOS devices. It will help you tremendously if you’re lacking both Koins and Souls. Stick around and find out what’s it all about, but first let’s get over the basics.
☯Mortal Kombat X – introduction and quick review
There is a reason why Mortal Kombat franchise has maintained it’s popularity over the years. It provides it’s loyal fans exactly what they want. Violence and pick-up-and-play gameplay is what Mortal Kombat has always been about.
There isn’t much difference with this new part of the franchise. Mortal Kombat X surely keeps close to it’s roots in terms of violence and gameplay. However some things have changed due to the transition from consoles to mobile devices.
The transition required a simpler gameplay, that is understandable. However things should have been a bit more immersive than just tapping and swiping the screen. We don’t mind the current state of the gameplay, however it could use some love.
You touch the screen to punch. Tap three times to perform a combo. Do a two finger touch to block and occasionally swipe to perform a special move.
That’s really all there is to it…Not impressed? Well neither are we to be honest, but keeping in mind the smartphone’s limitations. It’s not that bad.
Fatalities, however, are present and are just as gory as ever! The best thing is that they are simplified too. This was good news for us because we rarely managed to perform fatalities in the original games. So after all the simplification might not even be that bad.
This part of the franchise might not appeal to the most hardcore fans but it surely will bring about fans of other games. WWE and Injustice are just some of the games that have similarities with Mortal Kombat X.
Gameplay is very smooth overall and the animations and graphics are also quite nice. While combat might feel the same with every character, different animations and special moves surely spices things up.
That’s about it for the introduction and review of the game!
🕵️♀️Mortal Kombat X Souls and Koins gathering guide
Since Mortal Kombat X is a game essentially made for smartphone’s it features certain resources. As opposed to many other mobile games, resource here can be either bought with real money or acquired through playing. This comes as quite a refreshment from all of those pay-to-win fighting games.
There are two main resources here called Koins and Souls. Collecting them is one of the most important parts of the whole game. Without them you cannot progress. Good news is that we’ll help you gather there in this guide.
First of all, you can get souls by logging in on a daily basis. After that you can do the remaining Daily Missions for additional souls. Both of these ways won’t grant you a significant amount of the said resource, but with enough time it will add up.
These missions can be almost anything, and they will always refresh so be sure to come back each day. There are three daily missions in total that you can do per day. Doing there for a week or two is surely to bring you a hefty amount of souls. There are other ways though…
Do as much of the single player campaign as possible. You can do this by fighting at ‘Towers‘ each tower completed will grant you a first time reward. If you get stuck however you can do the old towers again. This way you get experience and your characters get stronger. As you level up your fighters you will randomly gain souls as a level up reward.
The same procedure can be used to obtain Koins as well. This method of doing old towers is overall a very good way to strengthen your whole team. Faction Wars are another great way to earn Koins, since they pay more than the towers.
🤘Additional Mortal Kombat X Koins and Souls farming tips
Here are some more tips that you might find helpful while playing:
- Koins are best farmed at towers that have the “Test Your Might” minigame. The more you break the said object – the more Koins you get!
- Take on Gold Challenges to get nice amounts of Souls
- Play during Mondays, 3 hours before the Faction Wars end – Most of people can’t play on Monday and it makes farming much easier
- Participate in ladder Tournaments in order to get a chance to earn free souls
- Buying a Console Version of the game can unlock specific tasks that award Souls upon completion
We’ll that about wraps it up for this guide. Have you learned something new? Is there anything we could add to the guide? We appreciate feedback and if this post gets enough attention we might create another one in the near future!
